Take a closer look at the Color Coated Coil!
1. Definition
Color coated coil is the product of hot galvanized coil, hot Galvalume Steel Coil, electrogalvanized plate and so on as the base plate, after the surface pretreatment(chemical degreasing and chemical conversion treatment), the surface is coated with a layer or several layers of organic coating, and then after baking and curing. Also because there are a variety of different colors of organic coating color steel coil plate so named, referred to as color coated coil.
2. Characteristics
Color coated coil has light weight, beautiful appearance and good corrosion resistance.
3. Features
①Good durability. The corrosion resistance of painted rolls is longer than that of galvanized coil.
②Good heat resistance. Compared with galvanized coil, color coated coil is not easy to change color at high temperature.
③Good thermal reflection.
④Color coated coil has similar processing and spraying properties with galvanized coil.
⑤Good welding performance.
4. Coating structure type
2/1: apply the upper surface twice, the lower surface once, and bake twice.
2/1M: apply twice on top and bottom and bake once.
2/2: apply the upper and lower surfaces twice and bake twice.
5. USES of different coating structures
2/1: single backside paint has poor corrosion resistance and scratch resistance, but has good adhesion, which is mainly used in sandwich board.
2/1M: corrosion resistance, scratch resistance and machining ability of the back paint, good adhesion, suitable for single-layer pressure plate and sandwich plate.
2/2: double back paint has good corrosion resistance, scratch resistance and processing formability. It is mostly used for single-layer pressure plate, but its poor adhesion is not suitable for sandwich plate.
