Construction Requirements for Hot Dip Galvanized Steel Corrugated Culvert - Metal Corrugated Steel Pipe Culvert

 Assembly and cutting of metal corrugated steel pipe culverts Loading and unloading

The culvert joint of metal corrugated steel pipe should be carefully lifted, transported, unloaded and stacked. Rolling, bumping against hard objects and beating are strictly prohibited to avoid deformation or damage of galvanized protective layer and anticorrosive coating layer of metal corrugated steel pipe culvert wall.

Each section of metal corrugated steel pipe culvert must be a whole, and the surface of weld seam shall not have defects such as porosity, crack, slag inclusion and splash.

If the water in the culvert is highly corrosive, the thickness of the anti-corrosion coating should be increased.

When assembling metal corrugated steel pipe culverts, the number of plates at any point of convergence is not more than 3, so that plate joints are staggered as far as possible.

When the corrugated plate is installed, the splicing place must be kept clean to ensure that each corrugated plate is tightly attached and tightly stitched.

Short culverts can be assembled in the nearby construction site, and then transported to the culvert and hoisted in place;

Long culvert pipe can be assembled in sections first, and then hoisted to the culvert.
