Several Shapes of Coil Nails

Coil nail refers to a coil made of copper wire, hence the name coil nail. Main types include coiled smooth shank coil nails,  ring shank coil nails and screw shank coil nails.

Coil Nails Shank:

1.Smooth Shank Coil Nail
Smooth shank nails are the most common and are often used for wooden frames and general construction applications. Use more in daily life

2.Ring Shank Coil Nail
Ring shank nails have a stronger grip than smooth ring shank nails because the wood fills the cracks in the ring and also provides friction to prevent the nails from retreating over time. Ring shank nails are usually used for softer types of wood.

3.Screw Shank Coil Nail
Screw shank nails are usually used for hard wood to prevent the wood from cracking when the fastener is driven. The fastener rotates when it is driven (like a screw), forming a tight groove, making the fastener stronger.
