The design of a coil nail gun is simple. Compressed gas is used to push a large piston connected to a lever or blade.
If there are nails in the face of the gun, the blades push the nails out of the body. When you pull the trigger, the valve opens and compressed gas flows out. If the trigger is released, the compressed gas is blocked by the piston and another valve opens, forcing the high-pressure gas out of the chamber and into position.
