Many people think nails are just simple hardware parts. They only differ in length and thickness. But the quality, durability and real-world performance of a nail do not depend on its size. They depend on the raw material.
Even nails and coil nails with the same size will show big differences in strength, rust resistance, driving performance and service life if made from different materials. They fit completely different jobs, such as building and pallet-making.
Nail quality varies a lot on the market. Most quality gaps come from material and production methods. There is no "one-size-fits-all" nail. You need to pick the right one for your work.
West Yosen exports steel nails, coil nails and pallet nails. We use Q235 steel from large local steel factories. Big steel plants follow strict quality rules. Their materials seldom change from batch to batch. This keeps West Yosen steel nails and coil nails strong and steady. They do not break easily when driven, and work well for a long time.
Small-factory steel has many unstable impurities. Even marked as Q235, these nails often break, crack when bent, or jam nail guns during use.
West Yosen buys steel blocks directly from major steel mills. Factories keep harmful sulphur (S) and phosphorus (P) levels much lower than official standards.
Large-mill steel (used by West Yosen): Low sulphur and phosphorus. Hard to crack when welded or bent. Every steel nail and coil nail has consistent quality.
Small-mill steel: Sulphur and phosphorus close to standard limits. Easy to crack or break suddenly during welding, bending or pressing. High waste rate.
Even Q235 steel can be different. Carbon and manganese levels sit within allowed ranges. Changes in heating and cooling during production also change the final nails. This leads to different bending bounce, rough or smooth nail surfaces, extra metal scale, and unstable sizes for steel nails and coil nails.
Many buyers only check unit price and ignore hidden costs from poor steel. Low-quality nails and coil nails break often. They slow down work and damage tools, and finally cost more money.
Choose West Yosen steel nails, coil nails and pallet nails. We control steel quality right at the source. Good raw materials help you avoid troubles for pallet production and construction work.
