Zinc Flower Coating of Zinc Layer (Galvanized Coil, Galvalume Coil)

(1) Normal zinc flower coating: During the normal solidification of zinc layer, zinc grains grow freely to form coatings with obvious morphology of zinc flowers.

(2) Small zinc flower coating: During the solidification of zinc layer, zinc grains are artificially restricted to form the smallest possible zinc flower coating.

(3) No zinc flower coating: The coating obtained by adjusting the chemical composition of the plating solution does not have visible morphology of zinc flowers and uniform surface.

(4) Zinc and iron alloy: Heat treatment is carried out on the steel strip after galvanizing bath liquid, so that the whole coating generates an alloy layer of zinc and iron. The coating appearance is dark gray, without metallic luster. It is easy to powder in the process of violent forming, suitable for coating which can be painted directly without further treatment except for general cleaning.

(5) Difference of thick coating: For both sides of galvanized steel, coating with different zinc layer weight is required.

(6) Finishing: Finishing is a cold rolling of galvanized steel sheets with a small amount of deformation for one or more of the following purposes. Finishing can improve the surface appearance of galvanized steel sheet or it is suitable for decorative coating. Finishing reduced the slip line or folding phenomenon temporarily to the minimum for the finished product.

FAQS

Q1: What is steel coil used for?

Steel coil products are widely used, mainly in construction, light industry, automobile, agriculture, animal husbandry, fishery and commercial industries, from general engineering structures to the manufacture of automobiles, trains, bridges, ships, boilers and pressure vessels.

Q2: How heavy is a steel coil?

Between about 7 to 15 tons. Each coil usually weighs between about 7 to 15 tons depending on the length and thickness of the plating. Coils weighing up to 30 tons are not altogether uncommon.

Q3: How strong are steel coils?

The key properties of steel coils are high tensile strength, ductility, corrosion resistance, uniform thickness, and excellent surface finish. High Tensile strength: Tensile strength shows how much stress the coil can handle before breaking, varying by type and treatment.

Q4: Can steel coils rust?

Rust can form on the surface of steel coils or within the coil itself, depending on the conditions under which they are stored and transported.
